Hand and Upper Limb Extremities Center

Physicians in the hand and upper limb service specialize in the care of the hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow including patients with arthritis and fractures (broken bones), congenital anomalies of the hand, pediatric injuries, nerve and tendon injuries -- including  brachial plexus injuries -- hand replantation, and congenital anomalies affecting the upper limb.

The physicians represent the Robert A. Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center, which honors its founder. Dr. Chase, the Emile Holman Professor of Surgery Emeritus, has devoted his career to approaching medical and surgical problems through the efforts of a team.

Our team of physicians reflect this philosophy, as they represent orthopaedic and plastic surgeons devoted to an integrated approach to the care of the upper limb.
