The California VitreoRetinal Center is Stanford's center for the care and study of vitreoretinal disease.

One of the oldest established practices devoted exclusively to vitreoretinal diseases in the western United States, the California Vitreoretinal Center is a national leader in the advancement of new technologies and treatments for a variety of vitreoretinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular diseases and retinal detachment.

Affiliated with the center is a clinical research group, which conducts trials on safe, cutting edge treatments for many vitreoretinal diseases. The center also supports a state-of-the-art photography unit.
