Goals

To act as a health care provider by interviewing and examining patients in an ambulatory care setting.

Objectives

• Assess therapeutic response and adverse effects of medications
• Act as a drug information source for patients and health care providers
• Develop teaching skills while precepting pharmacy students

Activities

• Actively participate in all clinics
• Monitor patients to ensure efficacy and safety of drug therapy
• Attend journal club, Grand Rounds, and other scheduled lectures
• Daily contact with preceptors to review patient cases
