Hand Rehabilitation Department

The Hand Therapy Department at Stanford has a core group of dynamic, board certified hand therapists who treat a large variety of hand injuries and disabilities, including:

  • trauma
  • tendon nerve injuries and repairs
  • sports injuries
  • repetitive stress injuries
  • entrapment syndromes
  • Myofascial pain
  • fractures and dislocations
  • soft tissue injuries
  • reconstructive hand surgeries
  • complex regional pain syndrome

Although our philosophy is very much hands-on, we also employ electrical, sound and thermal modalities to enhance and increase the effectiveness of treatment.
