Stanford Hospital & Clinics is located on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, California. It is approximately 20 miles north of San Jose and 40 miles south of San Francisco.

The Emergency Department is located at the back of the hospital with a parking lot just outside the entrance for Emergency Department patients, visitors and EMS personnel.
