Referring physicians are encouraged to contact the Referring Physician Resource Center (RPRC) which is designed to offer physicians direct access to a nurse who can facilitate and monitor requests including:

• Diagnosis and appropriate clinic and physician referrals
• Direct connection to faculty physicians
• Retrieval of patient information
• Service recovery and issue resolution

The RPRC can be reached at (866) 742-4811 Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm (PST).

After hours, please call the hospital page operator at (650) 723-4000 and ask for the physician on call.

For non-emergent referrals, you may leave a message on the RPRC line and your concern will be addressed on the next business day.

Patients can obtain additional information regarding Stanford services and appointments by calling the Stanford Consumer Line at (800) 756-9000.
