Do you have multiple spreadsheets with data that you don’t know how to manage? Would you like to be able to query the data that you have gathered?

 

Microsoft Access allows you to manage and query data and so much more. Microsoft Access is a relational database management program that allows you to work with data in virtually any database format.

 

In this course you will learn the fundamental aspects of Microsoft Access 2000. You will learn basic database concepts and Microsoft Access terminology.  Participants will learn to customize forms and reports and use Wizards to create and modify tables, queries and records.

 

Topics covered include:

  • Identifying basic database concepts
  • Navigating through the database
  • Editing, Adding and Deleting Records
  • Creating databases and adding tables
  • Querying a table
  • Creating Complex Queries
  • Customizing forms
  • Customizing reports

 

Prerequisite:  Familiarity with Windows 95 or Windows NT (or equivalent experience)
