Do you have multiple spreadsheets with data that you want to manage in a more advanced way? Would you like to be able to jump from one Access file to another?
In this course you will learn the more advanced aspects of Microsoft Access 2000. You will learn intermediate database concepts and Microsoft Access terminology. Participants will learn to create and enhance custom forms, main forms, and subforms, and to jump to other files or other locations within files using hyperlinks.
Topics covered include:

Sharing and managing data to improve efficiency and ensure data integrity

Defining data entry rules to ensure accurate data input

Using advanced queries to answer a specific question about data in tables

Creating summary queries to perform calculations and make comparisons

Creating and enhance custom forms to easily view records and enter data

Creating a main form with a subform to view or enter data into two tables

Creating and enhance custom reports to summarize and present information
-
Crating hyperlinks to jump to other files or to locations within a file
Prerequisite: Familiarity with Windows 95 or Windows NT (or equivalent experience) and completion of the Access Basics program, or equal skills and knowledge.
