What:
|
The conference will provide clinicians with strategies to help them alleviate pain and suffering, and to augment quality of lives for patients with advanced illnesses. This course introduces the latest research and treatment trends in the fields of pain and palliative care with particular emphasis on practical applications to clinical practice. The conference fulfills AB 487 which requires most California-licensed physicians to take 12 units of continuing medical education on “pain management” and “the appropriate treatment of the terminally ill” by December 31, 2006.
