Although there are many individual differences in communication style, research has uncov­ered some interesting trends in differences between the sexes. 

Conflict is inevitable. Anger, blame, grudges are not. Conflict is normal and occurs in every arena of life. We can’t avoid Conflict, but the way we deal with it will determine whether it is a destructive or constructive force. 

This course explores the communication differences with men and women and strategies for better results when Conflict arises.

AUDREY NELSON, PHD, is an internationally recognized communication con­sultant and trainer for Fortune 50 and 500 companies. Her contact with business organizations spans 30 years in 48 states, Australia, Canada and Great Britain. She is also a published author. Prentice Hall released her book, You Don’t Say: Navigating Nonverbal Communication Between the Sexes, in March 2004.
