This 7 hour course will provide end of life education for nurses in all areas of practice. It is based on the ELNEC Core Curriculum (End of Life Nursing Education Curriculum) of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

Faculty from Stanford Hospital and Clinics:
DEBRA THALER-DEMERS, RN, OCN, PRN-C, staff nurse in hematology and oncology, is a certified ELNEC Trainer. She is a former member Board of Directors of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, a consumer advocate in research related activities for the National Cancer Institute, and has been nominated to the National Quality Forum Hospice and Palliative Care Review Committee. She has lectured and published extensively in the areas of survivorship, palliative care and spirituality. Debra is the recipient of the 2005 OCN of the Year Award
