Temescal Trio Performs in Berkeley "Music for Marfan" Benefit: December 3

The concert is a benefit for the National Marfan Foundation, a non-profit voluntary health organization dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of life of individuals and families affected by the Marfan syndrome and related disorders, which affect an estimated 200,000 American men, women and children of every race and ethnic group.

In recognition of the event, City of Berkeley has declared December 3, 2006, Marfan Awareness Day.

Music for Marfan

When: December 3, 2006, 3:00pm

What:  Music for Marfan Benefit Concert -- chamber  music by Shostakovich, Brahms and Mozart.  Dessert buffet included.

Who: The Temescal Trio, Madeline  Prager, viola, Karen Wells, clarinet, and John Burke, piano

Where:  St. John's Presbyterian Church, 2727 College Avenue @ Garber, Berkeley, California
