More than one third of older adults aged 65 years and older fall each year - with many of those falls leading to emergency room visits, hospitalization and loss of independence. This presentation will discuss the major causes of falls and provide tips for preventing future falls. By looking at home safety, medications, strength and balance, and other health factors, many falls can be prevented.
