Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center, Redwood City
Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center, Redwood City, an initiative of Stanford Hospital & Clinics, is under way!
With Stanford Hospital & Clinics’ growth at Stanford University severely constrained, and with the planning under way for a replacement hospital and growth for the children’s hospital , we have looked outward for options to grow. In 2004, a superb location in Redwood City was identified that fulfills much of the criteria for an off-site location. The former headquarters of Excite@Home, the office campus encompasses four, 1999 constructed office buildings totaling approximately 360,000 square feet, with parking for approximately 1175 vehicles. |
|
A mid-peninsula location geographically centered in Stanford Hospital & Clinic’s outpatient area, the site is within an acceptable proximity to the Main Campus.
The buildings are situated so that they create a unified campus, can accommodate Stanford Hospital & Clinic’s complex academic clinical needs, are conveniently located for patients and staff and have future expansion possibilities. The Campus will be the future home of Orthopedic Surgery, the Sleep Center, Dermatology, the Pain Center, a new Ambulatory Surgery Center and other clinic support. There is also space for other specialties in the future.
During construction , the site will be the home to the Epic/ CIS team, Physician Referral, Clinic Registration, Continuing Medical Education, and the Facilities Design and Construction Project Team.
